Harvard Women's Health Watch reported an Emory University study showing that T'ai Chi may possibly improve elasticity in ligaments and tendons, create stronger knee flexors and extensors, and create better posture.
The TCC group showed 16% increase in flexibility, 18% increase in muscle strength of knee extensor, 9 degrees increase in flexibility, and 15% increase of knee flexor (P<0.05). The control group showed no significant change in these variables.
