 Here are three pictures- one of the Hampton Roads World Day Team at the reception, and two of the event with six tai chi groups participating, one of the whole group in standing meditation before the wave energy, and one of the groups participating in the wave. Hi Bill & World TC & QG Day, Something special happened this year that I think you would be proud to know of. This is my fifth year as local founder of the WTCD here in Hampton Roads, VA, and this year I called each of the Tai Chi schools here and asked each Master or Teacher to appoint a representative for the first meeting of the World Tai Chi Day Team (WDT). We met several times and came together as a one group to promote this event. Every year a different one of us will host the event and the reception afterwards but it was wonderful to have all the groups on the field. We definitely made strides in the fellowship goals of WD, and next year I hope to move the group earlier to work on the state and local proclamations and more marketing to the public.
