![]() The City of St. Augustine, Florida the Nation's Oldest City started the World Tai Chi day with the reading of a Proclamation from George Gardner, Mayor. Wanda Hall, a senior student of Shrfu Fernando Bernall sounded the gong 10 times to announce the 10Am beginning of the event. The group gathered and using a standing post position began the world wide celebration of health and healing. The group performed the Yang Style short form of Tai Chi called "Cloudy Day". Everyone expressed their pleasure of being able to join with so many and encourage others to learn the practice of Tai Chi principles including breathing, relaxation, foot work and body alignment. |
