| I went about it the way my teacher taught me: that it is more effective to understand concept than quantity. The way I went about it was to break down every technique. Weight shifting in stationary posture, then moving positions until everyone seemed to understand a flowing weight shifting and waist moving. Then we practiced moving one hand at a time until everyone seemed to understand a flowing hand. When it was time to execute the press, everyone seemed a little comfortable with weight shift and straight spine. I saw lots of smiles. It was awesome! |
