Combat Veterans Gift from World
Tai Chi & Qigong (Chi Kung) Day

To help the healing of wounded veterans of the Iraq war, World Tai Chi & Qigong Day, is glad to provide Sitting Qigong Relaxation Therapy & Mind Expansion CD-Audios to soldiers at the US Military Hospital in Kuwait.

World Tai Chi & Qigong Day's founder is currently working with a Veterans Administration Hospital to provide copies of his acclaimed Tai Chi & Qigong DVD for free to returning veterans, in honor of his father, William Edward Douglas, Sr., who suffered Post Traumatic Stress Disorder his entire life.

We hope that the men and women using them find some peace and relief through the CD programs we donated, and through the VA's coming DVD distribution. If your local VA Hospital is interested in this program, have them contact us at:

World Tai Chi & Qigong Day has contacted Senator McCaine's Office to let them know that the above CD program will be made available to the VA system to reproduce and provide for free to every combat veteran in the United States. Part of World Tai Chi & Qigong Day's commitment to global health and healing.

Although we can't afford to ship the above CD for free to all combat veterans, our offer to give the VA limited license to do so, stands. In the meantime, we offer the online Sitting Qigong therapy to the right, for you to enjoy online as a gift from WTCQD.

Dear Bill

Thank you for the articles . It helps me alot about tai chi . I'm in Iraq and our base has a guy that teaches tai chi . E- mail me back on more articles. Thank you again.

World Tai Chi and Qigong Day's Founder has volunteered time to work with combat veterans at the Veteran's Administration Hospital's Psychiatric section.

Veterans enjoyed the below Sitting Qigong Relaxation Therapy and Mind Expansion experience in their group therapy sessions.

If you are in therapy it is advisable to use this in conjunction with your therapist, as this experience can be quite pleasant and calming, but may also surface deep emotional issues as well.

WTCQD has also sent free CDs to soldiers in the US Army Hospital in Kuwait.

If you are a combat veteran, you can urge the VA to take advantage of WTCQD's standing offer to provide the Sitting Qigong CD to combat veterans for free through the VA system (see left colum).

Also, in the menu to the right, you'll find a "Find Local Classes" section where you'll find teachers and schools in your local area's contact information. Shop around to find one right for you.
