Beautiful, moving, and growing . . . The number of cities who've added WTCQD photos to our Event Photo Gallery is growing by leaps and bounds. Please encourage your students, contacts, and organizations . . . not just to view your groups photos . . . but to look through the global event photos. As someone who grew up in a small rural Western Kansas town, this event has been a huge education for me. I've learned about countries and cultures I'd had no knowledge of before. I've seen beauty from the farthest reaches of our precious planet, and seen beauty in humanity . . . and through our association as Tai Chi & Qigong enthusiasts and educators . . . I've seen a commonality of the human spirit that has moved me, and changed me forever. In your moving messages I have witnessed a yearning for people to come together across ethnic, religious, and geopolitical boundaries for a larger vision of possibility for humanity . . . a vision, a hunger for health & healing on a personal level yes, but also on a global level among the multiple colors and consciousness of the human family. Thank you for being a part of this profound global experience. A Few SPECTACULAR IMAGES !! I hate to single out any particular events, because you are all beautiful and moving, which is why again and again we encourage all to view ALL the WTCQD photo gallery postings, at www.worldtaichiday.org However, we wanted to note a few photos of events that truly captured not only the beauty of their Tai Chi & Qigong practitioners and arts, but also the exquisite beauty of the land they live in. Article Subheading The coming 2008 event is the PINNACLE of our ongoing global efforts. WHY? As the 2008 Beijing Olympic's buzz gains momentum . . . global media will be looking for Eastern oriented stories to cover. THIS IS THE YEAR OF UNVEILING FOR WORLD TAI CHI & QIGONG DAY, if we move early to position our surf boards to ride the wave of interest in the East. There are several things to do, and we hope all will get involved in them. We hope by now all consider themselves WTCQD Ambassadors: Use the internet and phone book to CONTACT EVERY TAI CHI & QIGONG GROUP, SCHOOL, ASSOCIATION in your city, region, nation, continent . . . to invite them to get involved for WTCQD 2008 Let these groups know that FREE "Organizing Kits" "Media Kits" and other resources are available at www.worldtaichiday.org to walk them thru creating a 2008 event. Begin contacting your national health ministers, governors, mayors, etc. to PROCLAIM WTCQD 2008 EARLY, so that you can use that as a catalyst to gain more media interest in your local efforts, and our global efforts If you belong to a national or international Tai Chi or Qigong organization, please urge them to contact "Bill Douglas" at www.worldtaichiday.org and discuss ways to make WTCQD 2008 their own, partnering with the world to further their good works. Many who belong to such organizations assume "someone else" is handling this. Don't. Organizations are busy doing their normal good works. It takes a few dozen suggestions from their members to truly build momentum in an organization to embark on an added opportunity. Full story Again, thank you all for creating this global health & healing phenomenon that embraces our planet year after year . . . with a wave of good will, health education, and healing. 2008 is already gearing up to be a truly historic part of this global event's evolution. PLEASE NOTE -- JUST BELOW THIS MESSAGE YOU'LL SEE A "FORWARD WTCQD EMAIL TO A FRIEND" on each email we send out. Please forward this email to all your contacts. Here's why. Group emails are sometimes filtered by email service providers, EVEN THOUGH their clients requested email updates from us. In order to grow this movement, we depend you you to "forward" these email updates to your contacts. If they get more than one, they can simply delete it. Often if I get more than one notification of something I care about, it builds my momentum. Thanks for forwarding this message and others from WTCQD to your contacts, groups, associations, etc. Lastly, it is better to use the below "Forward" feature, than to use your email provider's "forward" button. When you use the below "forward" you will NOT get all those ANNOYING symbols included that break up the message. The below "forward" feature will enable you to send a "clean" copy to your contacts, groups, regional and national associations. Also it will send it to them as HTML or PLAIN depending on what their email provider prefers.
