World Tai Chi & Qigong Day Supporters
Groups worldwide are reaching out to officials for official proclamations, media work is beginning worldwide, and groups are reaching out to other Tai Chi & Qigong organizations and schools in their nations to make World Tai Chi & Qigong Day 2007 the largest yet.
Saturday, April 28th, 2007 - the 9th Annual World Tai Chi & Qigong Day (ALWAYS the "last Saturday of April" each year.)
If you haven't seen the film "Down the Rabbit Hole" yet, we encourage you to rent it. It shows through scientific research how a collective global focus of consciousness can affect the entire planet in a real physical way.
World Tai Chi & Qigong Day's global intent of health & healing, can be shared worldwide not only thru physical events in 60 nations, but by the media coverage of those events. You'll find an Opening Message from WTCQD you are encouraged to share with your group on WTCQD to open proceedings at:

Canadian Tai Chi Teacher EMAILS ALL OF CANADA about WTCQD
Howard Fraracci, a Canadian Tai Chi teacher, just informed us that, using Google, he emailed every Tai Chi and Qigong group and school in ALL OF CANADA . . . inviting them to participate in World Tai Chi & Qigong Day 2007 and visit www.worldtaichiday.org.
Imagine how massively this event and its global impact would expand, if all the teachers and groups would follow Howard's inspirational action.
This global wave of healing intention would grow profoundly. After seeing the film "Down the Rabbit Hole" you'll see that this could be a deeply meaningful action to support our entire planet's health & clarity.
HOWARDS AMAZING MESSAGE:
Hi Bill & World Tai Chi & Qigong Day,
I have emailed the following message to approximately 188 schools and teachers in Canada. Hopefully this will bring more people online for 2007.
All the best,
Howard Fraracci -- Toronto, Canada
THE MESSAGE THIS CANADIAN TAI CHI TEACHER SENT TO HIS FELLOW CANADIANS:
Gung Hay Fat Choy!
Greetings fellow Qi Gong and Tai Chi practitioners.
There are only 2 months until World Tai Chi & Qi Gong Day - April 28, 2007.
I am sending this message to all of the Canadian Tai Chi and Qi Gong teachers and schools that I could find on the Internet. If you have family, friends or training partners who may be interested please forward it to them.
If you haven't yet heard of World Tai Chi & Qi Gong Day, please check it out. It is a global healing event that brings together tens of thousands of people in a common purpose each year (over 1,600 events in 63 countries in 2006).
The idea is to hold free public Demonstrations/seminars in parks and public spaces at 10 am local time on the last Saturday in April each year to help educate the public about the tremendous healing benefits of the internal arts. Practicing outdoors is always wonderful and helps spread public awareness.
This will be my seventh W.T.C.Q.D. event and I look forward to celebrating our energetic connection in the spirit of joy and healing. For background and more info, the official website is www.worldtaichiday.org
Howard Fraracci -- Toronto

One WTCQD Event's Activities - A BRILLIANT EXAMPLE TO US ALL
We're getting some amazing pre-event planning updates from WTCQD event organizers in many cities. However, we just got this one before we sent out this email, and it shows pure genius and amazing energy, so we thought we'd include it, as an inspiration to us all. This group is in Mindin, Nevada (US), and the email came from Earl Mussett
WTCQD PLANNING MEETING February 17, 2007
A planning meeting for the WTCQD event on April 28, was held beginning at 3 00 PM on February 17, 2007 at 1079 Wisteria Drive, Minden, NV. Those present were Ginny Cardenas and Earl Mussett.
Action items for the April 28 WTCQD event were discussed and taken on as follows:
Ginny will distribute flyers as she did last year, to chiropractors, health food stores, schools, and massage therapists. Approval to distribute flyers to schools will be obtained from the Douglas School District. Ginny will also contact the local martial arts studios for permission to post flyers.
Earl will provide flyers to the Town of Minden Office, Channel 26 in Douglas County, DCRD office, and Merrill Gardens Retirement Home here in town. Flyers have been provided to Carson City Senior Center. E- mails will be sent to persons for whom he has addresses. Brochures will be on hand for the Northern Nevada Tai Chi instructors. Earl will print up registration sheets for the Saturday morning WTCQD event. Earl has requested a proclamation from the Governor (as he did last year), to proclaim April 28, 2007, as the day to observe World Tai Chi/QiGong Day in Nevada. Earl will contact the Record Courier (Jo Rafferty) and the Nevada Appeal (Rhonda Costa- Landers) newspapers. Earl has received a response from Doug Armstrong, that his group will participate in several ways in the event. (See schedule below)
Byron Waite will operate the sound system again. Two wireless mikes will again be available, with fresh batteries on hand. The park reservation still stands confirmed, with DCRD co-sponsorship as in the past. Earl has checked with Sheila and Tricia in the Town of Minden office to make sure someone will open the sound system for the Saturday morning event. Helen Swanson will be the Registrar again. Arline Zeidler and Warren Harnden will act as the announcer and photographer. Lee Chochain will take the videos again this year as he did last year, on short notice. Time span will again be two hours. Program will be similar to the last two events, with group activities led by Ginny or Earl, and special demonstrations by Doug and his group in specific skills. Ginny was excited about a Taiji Qigong routine demonstrated by Earl, based on an article in T'ai Chi magazine written by Dr. Steve L. Sun. It was decided to incorporate this routine in the program for WTCQD.
Program was discussed tentatively at the meeting, and is listed below.
Next meeting will be on March 24 at 3 PM at Earl's home again.
